Given instruction on how to stand, what to hold on to (and most importantly what to shout!), you’ll shortly be whisked through the twists and turns of the forest by the sled-puppy team. An exhilarating ride, the main task of the rider is to keep the sled upright when careening around the forest paths! It’s definitely something to debate again in the ski chalets Meribel skiers will always be happy to debate the outcome of a race between a skier and a sled.Ice DivingThis extreme action is exactly what it claims вЂ˜on the tin’ – a hole is carved in the Meribel ice, and divers are given a dry suit in order to keep hot under the h2o. Although it requires a PADI open-h2o certification to take part, it is a truly unique dive. Some divers even describe it as better than a wreck dive and a night time dive set together!Clay Pigeon ShootingFor the eagle-eyed, clay pigeon shooting can be an invigorating sport. If you’re looking to test your hair-trigger, ceramic clay discs or вЂ˜pigeons’ are catapulted from possibly facet, with just a few moments for a shooter to try and hit them. After a previous day’s adventure, some people prefer to shoot from the comfort of their ski chalets. Meribel can accommodate with a laser system. Instead of firing an actual gun, a modified laser sighting is used to shoot. The laser alternative is great for family fun, as under 16’s aren’t authorized to use firearms in Meribel.
